The Integral Audio FactoryFit™ Subwoofer Enclosure for the MINI Cooper installs in the boot. It offers a clean, professional installation and the boot remains completely usable. It can be quickly removed for security, if the extra storage space needs to be reclaimed, or for reducing weight for the track. Less than 1 cubic foot of boot space is lost, and the enclosure (without speaker and amp) weighs in at less than 15 lbs!
The enclosure holds a 10" or 12" shallow mount subwoofer in a sealed enclosure and has a built in amplifer rack. The enclosure consists of a base which holds the speaker and amp, and a boot false floor panel with amp and speaker grilles which gives a clean, finished look. The false floor is designed to allow sufficient airflow for the sub and amp, even if the boot is FULLY LOADED! There are separate false floors for the coupe and convertible.
The amp rack (13.125"L x 11"W x 3"H) is designed to hold most 2-channel amps but will also hold many 4-channel and monoblock amps. This allows for ultimate flexibility - the amp can be bridged for use with single voice-coil subs, used in stereo for dual voice coil subs, or bridged with a DVC sub wired in parallel for SERIOUS output from high current amplifiers.

What subwoofers do you recommend for the Model 120SA?
Any subwoofer that will fit may be used - check the Overview tab for dimensions and specifications for the Model 80S. Widely available, quality subwoofers that we recommend include:
- Rockford Fosgate P3S
- Earthquake SWS
Subwoofers that we do NOT recommend include:
- Pioneer/Premier TS-SW Shallow line
Will the subwoofer work if I put stuff on top of it?
Yes, absolutely. The false floor rests on rubber spacers that ensure that there is adequate air for the subwoofer to function and to cool the amplifier, even if you pack the boot full!

thanks again!! I will also be posting a few more pics of stuff I did to the car relative to the body..but in that thread, we touched on the sub install as well...so I will def throw your name in there....thanks again...
btw, my cousin came by to check out the install, and was SUPER impressed...older guy, not too into car stuff...so him sitting inside and taking a listen and saying-WOW, this sounds DAMN GOOD!..."I want one" was cool to hear...
again, the fit was beyond my expectations, and your help was beyond any I have ever gotten from any support rep...i was a network support guy years back, and I went above to help the client or user with there issues, and usually just got a thanks...just making it clear that I appreciate the support...it really went a looooong way...a simple thanks just cant do just for your guidance...i didn’t want to get out of the car...lol.
