Sound Tailored Exactly to Your Vehicle

There are other high quality sound system options available, but none will sound as good as the Integral Audio Soundstage. Why? The main reason is that our system is designed specifically for the MINI. Every vehicle has significant differences - number and location of speakers, path lengths to the listener, shape of the interior surfaces. Each of these has a dramatic impact on the sound and each has to be considered when designing the crossover and selecting transition frequencies, slopes, and relative levels. Off-the-shelf speaker systems take a one-size-fits all approach that will severely compromise the resulting sound. Example: virtually all 3-way car speaker systems available transition from woofer to midrange between 500-600 Hz. This is right in the critical male vocal band. In the MINI, the woofer is down low in the door far from the midrange, which puts these male vocals down at your feet, severely damaging your sound stage. Our Soundstage transitions at a much lower frequency, keeping the sound stage elevated and male/female vocals time-aligned, dramatically improving the sound stage and imaging. Perfect Precision Fit

Every part of our system and bit of installation hardware is custom for the MINI for a perfect fit and easy, reversable installation with no permanent changes (great for leased vehicles!). No more speaker brackets with holes that don't line up, no drilling into doors or dremeling speaker grilles to get something to fit. No more cutting wires - our custom wiring harnesses plug right into factory wiring looms! Custom sheet metal parts, perfect plug-n-play wiring harnesses, CNC machined brackets, and custom injection-molded housings. It all adds up to a precision fit that you can't get with any other system!

Comprehensive Design by Integral Audio & Redrock Acoustics

We extensively measured and modeled the MINI's acoustics. Crossover design and engineering were done by Integral Audio in cooperation with Redrock Acoustics. The premium drivers and tweeters are to our specifications. Each part in the system is controlled by us, allowing us to do things that no other system can offer. Example: We altered the speaker motor design to allow for the higher resistance of the factory wiring, achieving the target acoustic response without you needing to run new wiring to the speakers and allowing you to use all the factory connectors.

The result? A perfectly designed system that sounds, looks, fits, and installs easier than anything else available. Period.
